In today's business climate, corporate sustainability is essential for companies to be successful for the long term. Individual businesses do not operate in a vacuum. Rather, they are part of a larger community and economic system where each company’s (and entities) decisions can directly impact the synergy of the whole. AzBAS supports the concept of the triple bottom line, a systematic approach to sustainability.

What is the triple bottom line?
When a business uses sustainable business practices it looks at every decision, transaction and operation through the lens of the triple bottom line: the economics, the environmental (ecological) impact, and social implications. By doing so, the focus moves beyond the immediate financial reward toward those auxiliary impacts that are critical to long-term success.

Sustainability is not just the pursuit of green initiatives at any cost; rather, it is a way of doing business that helps strengthen the bottom line by creating additional value for stakeholders. A “green” business that is not profitable is not sustainable.
